Attic Conversion

Attic Conversion in Denver. The clients live in a very expensive but very small home in Denver, over 125 years old. The house has two tiny bedrooms and a small bathroom. One of the bedrooms was so small that even a king-size bed couldn’t fit. Recently, the couple had a baby and needed more space. The only viable option was to convert the attic. The plan includes adding a staircase to the second floor, building several rooms, a home office, and an additional bathroom. Inside the attic, we’ll need to remove and raise part of the roof to create enough livable space. From an investment standpoint, this is a great project. Most of their neighbors have already done similar conversions in their single-story homes. The price per square foot in this area is very high, so the renovation is both financially smart and functionally necessary. We are currently in the sketching phase, working out the layout and dimensions of the new second floor.
